May 20, 1998 Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park Twilight Delight Nature Cruise on June 21, 1998

The Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park are now taking reservations for their first Twilight Delight Nature Cruise planned for Sunday evening, June 21, 1998. Participants will be taken on an evening cruise down Pepper Creek with a knowledgeable interpreter. At the Wildlife Park they will enjoy wine or soft drinks and cheese. An evening guided park tour offers an opportunity to experience the park after regular visiting hours. Hundreds of birds come in to roost in the tree tops most evenings and there is the chance to see and hear owls and other nocturnal creatures. Those registered should meet at the park's Visitor Center on U.S. Highway 19 at 6:00 p.m. Call early to register as space is limited. The Twilight Delight Nature Cruise is $10.00 per person or $15.00 per couple. Call Ernie Lauer at 352-628-4724 or the park's office Monday through Friday at 352-628-5343 to make your reservation. The Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife park is the Citizen Support Organization for the Wildlife Park. Through events like the Twilight Delight the Friends raise funds to help make improvments to the park's wildlife habitats.
