Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park will be holding another in its popular series of Gardening with Native Florida Plants Workshop on Wednesday, April 15, 1998. Marion Knudsen, the park's volunteer gardening supervisor will be presenting the program in the wildlife park at the Children's Education Center and the Garden of the Springs from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
The workshop will feature spring gardening tips for using Florida's native plants. Marion Knudsen will also answer your gardening questions. After the program she will take participants on a tour of the Native Florida Plant Garden in the Garden of the Springs.
If you are interested in attending the Gardening Workshop, please call the park's office at (352) 628-5343 Monday through Friday. Space is limited so be sure to register early. Regular park admission will apply. Current season pass holders may use their season's passes to be admitted to the park, but must call to register. |
